FredKid Fair

The FredKid fair held in Fredericton during the Mother's Day weekend was a huge hit. Over 6000 visitors!! Although I spent most of my time either socializing with people I haven't seen in years, or giving money to Jack for "snacks", the event proved to be very successful for lulujo.

Information on and safety of babywearing

Here is a great clip on safe baby-wearing which aired on the show The Doctors a few weeks back. They spoke of the bad press that has happened this year, why the bad press and why baby slings are safe - we just need to use them properly. They demonstrated how to properly use a sling and what not to do (re:cover baby's face in cradled position).

CGTA Toronto February 2010

This January, 2010, in Toronto, we launched lulujo baby nationally at the Canadian Gift and Trade Show (www.cgta.org). The success from the show was overwhelming as we picked up retailers across the country in every province. However, the road to get there was ... EXHAUSTING!!

After a 20 hour drive through a blinding snowstorm, we made it! At midnight, we began the process of setting up as we only had a few hours. Here is Jenalee at 3am in the deserted International Congress Centre in Toronto making tags for each product!














Nicole feeling a tad overwhelmed and exhausted... is this really going to work? Only a few hours left to get this done.















Setup is done, but Jenalee is somewhat delusional as fatigue sets in and she calls home....















With 3 hours sleep and another 7 hours setting up ... we did it!















Voila!!!
